Formerly Peel Music Academy, Brampton School of Music continues the long standing tradition of high quality music lessons with great teachers and programs. Private piano lessons at the Brampton School of Music are for young children through to adults of all ages and levels. While it is important to learn proper piano technique it is also important for students to have fun in their piano lessons. This is what our university and Royal Conservatory of Music trained piano teachers strive for in every lesson.
Our guitar lessons at the Brampton School of Music combine the stability of traditional guitar lessons with the fun of learning what you really want on the guitar. Not only will you learn songs that you love, guitar chords, and rhythms, you can also learn how to read music and guitar theory. This combined approach to music lessons is designed keep you or your children motivated from the very first lesson!
Brampton School of Music offers private drum lessons for children age 6 through to adults of all ages. While it is important to learn proper drum technique it’s also important to have fun in your drum lessons. This is what our professional drum teachers strive for in every lesson. While many students choose to play rock music all of our drum students are given the opportunity to learn a variety of different drum styles from rock to blues, and from funk to jazz as well.
Brampton School of Music offers voice/singing lessons for ages 7 and up. Our vocal instructors focus primarily on popular music like pop and R&B, and are comfortable with classical and jazz as well. If you have always wanted to be a better rock, pop, country, jazz, gospel or R&B singer, Brampton School of Music has the right voice teachers for you.
Our Brampton vocal students spend time in each lesson doing physical exercises to improve their vocal range, ear training, breath control, vibrato, tone production, enunciation and more. All voice students set goals with their teacher to work on sounding like their favourite recording artists, or if they prefer, to develop their own unique voice.
Brampton School of Music offers private one-on one violin lessons. Students of all ages can follow the Royal Conservatory of Music program, Suzuki repertoire, or even learn their favorite pop songs on the violin! Core music principles are emphasized through solid violin programs, starting with the fundamentals – learning the different parts of the violin, proper finger placement and bow hold.
Ukulele lessons at the Brampton School of Music. The ukulele is a great instrument to start on! There are many different musical styles you can learn and our ukulele teachers will guide you through the skills of reading music, playing by ear, and music theory.
